When the Class of 2022 takes the stage for Northwestern University’s graduation weekend June 11-13, several distinguished guest speakers will be on hand to send them off with words of inspiration.
Violinist Jennifer Koh will present the Bienen School of Music’s convocation address on Sunday, June 12, at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall.
Recognized for intense, commanding performances, delivered with dazzling virtuosity and technical assurance, Koh is a forward-thinking artist dedicated to exploring a broad and eclectic repertoire, while promoting equity and inclusivity in classical music.
Mike Greenberg ’89 will speak to graduates of the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications and their families on June 12 at Ryan Fieldhouse.
Greenberg is a member of the National Association of Broadcasters’ Broadcasting Hall of Fame, the National Radio Hall of Fame and Medill’s Hall of Achievement. He recently became host of “NBA Countdown” and continues to host “Get Up,” ESPN’s morning show, which he began in 2018.
Philanthropic leader Judy Belk ’75 will deliver remarks at the School of Communication convocation ceremony on Monday, June 13, at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
Belk is the president and CEO of the California Wellness Foundation, which awards nearly $43 million in annual grants and program-related investments that promote health equity, justice, and advocacy for Californians whose well-being is often determined by their race, income, immigration status, or where they live.

In May, eBay executive Marie Oh Huber JD ’86 addressed graduates of the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Also, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine welcomed Mary E. Klotman, the R.J. Reynolds Distinguished Professor of Medicine and dean of the Duke University School of Medicine. And Fatma Hassan Alremaihi, CEO of the Doha Film Institute, addressed the graduating class at Northwestern Qatar.
